As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
Comfortable in and around open water with basic safety knowledge
Comfortable in deep water and able to use watercraft (surfboard, paddleboard, kayak)
Able to pass lifeguard prerequisite exam including 550-meter open water swim and treading water without hands for 2 minutes
Experience working with or teaching children preferred
Red Cross Certification or WSI certification preferred
Must be 18+ years old
