As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
Comfortable in and around open water with knowledge of safety considerations
Ability to work in deep water and use watercraft (Surfboard, paddleboard, kayak)
Pass lifeguard prerequisite exam and have experience with children
Red Cross Certification or WSI certification is preferred
Must be 18 years of age
